Antique Art Nouveau slag glass table lamp with metal overlay. Opalescent, poly-chrome glass panels. Sky house tree scene. Re-socketed and rewired electric lamp. Lamp is not marked but I believe is is an Edward Miller lamp based on the construction. 18″ high X 8 1/2″ shade diameter. Glass panels 7″ high X 6″ wide. No cracks or chips to glass. Vintage Slag Glass Lamp- 6 Panel Cat Tails, Home on Lake Scene Miller Hubbard
Offered for sale is an antique style slag glass lamp shade with a scenic country-side design. I have no provenance for this lamp shade, but it looks to be a good match for either a Miller, Salem Bros. Or Bradley & Hubbard lamp base. It is a beautiful lamp with great colors. All gridwork is intact. The interior hexagon framing is steel reinforced, whereas the decorative metal is not magnetic (likely zinc and/or nickel with a bronze plating). I detect no significant damage other than minor scratches. The lamp shade measures 16-1/2″ across the bottom, it is about 8″ high, and has a 3-1/2 opening on the top. Antique Forest Scene Miller Hubbard 6-Panel Curved Slag Stained Glass Lamp
Vintage Art Nouveau Curved Slag Glass 6 Panel Table Lamp Scenic Landscape Overlay. This a a bi-colored slag dome shade with detailed overlay of a tree design. Beautiful tranquil sunset colors in the upper glass pieces and awesome turquoisy blue glass at bottom. Base is just as beautiful with a leafy scrolly pattern. It’s like a piece of art, in great condition for it’s age! – it might be a Miller based on others I’ve seen for sale online but all I know is it’s a beautiful old lamp! I hope I didn’t miss anything but I don’t see any cracks, etc, it’s a bit dusty- It was hard to take a picture showing the beautiful colors as in real life- the darker, more colorful pictures are most accurate as opposed to the bright ones. I don’t think this base is original to the shade, but this heavy, decorative base looks amazing with it, the leafy design goes great with the floral pattern- it takes a standard light bulb plus it has a 3 way switch for regular/dim/dimmer light. It looks like it should for it’s age. The base is a golden tone, the metal on the shade is a silvery tone, both aged-looking and look wonderful together. I can’t find any maker’s mark on the base. Measures approximately 16″W x 24″H. Each panel at the widest/bottom is about 8- It’s quite heavy, I’d say about 12 lbs. Base and top will be wrapped in a lot of bubble wrap with styrofoam pieces in one large box. Like I said the base is free with the shade but as with any very old item needing to be plugged in, I’m not an electrician and it’s up to you to have the wiring checked, it does work. Signed 1912 Royal Art Glass Co Slag Glass 12 Panel Lamp skyline scene light
Wow what a beauty!!! It does need a SEVERE CLEANING!!! There is a complete crack in a bottom straight panel as shown (it is a break but the frame of the lamp holds it tight together) and there is also a crack in the very top metal decorative piece in the corner. What is glaring is the beautiful art work and the glass color that would take your eyes away from any flaws. IT has 6 upper and lower panels. IT stands a little under 24 tall. The shade is about 11 1/2 tall and 17 12/ in diameter. IT looks great all dirty, can you imagine how it will look once you give it a detailed cleaning. The base is signed on the bottom Royal Glass Co 1912. I can’t say for sure that it is the original base but if you find Royal Glass slag lamps, it certainly looks like it and at the estate sale, they said they were 95% certain was the original base. Arts&crafts ML Co. 233 Miller Slag Glass Lamp, Sky House Tree Scene, Polychromed
PLENTY OF PHOTOS, Offering this beautiful Miller lamp with NO RESERVE. On the bottom of base is foundry embossed ML CO. All of this lamp is in original obtained condition from an estate sale of Florida retiree. Both lights and pull chains work. It stands about 22tall. The shade is 16″across the bottom and approx 9″tall.. None of the beautiful varigated slag glass panels are cracked. On the center of the very top of the shade, around the hole, you can see where about half of the circle has a fine stress crack hate to say that for it sounds too severe for it is still secure for use As Is. If you look close, perhaps that very center top of shade had been pushed in ever so little for it to do that. All the photos are true to this lamp. The white finish has remained very good. I do not know what, if any, restoration has been done to this. Perhaps new wiring or cord etc, but unknown to that.. I will let the photos be the best part of description, so please view all.
