Terracotta Pottery Arts and Crafts Art Deco Slag Glass Lamp Irises 7-panel
Very wonderful and scarce Arts and Crafts Terracotta pottery lamp with Caramel Slag glass 7-panel shade! The pattern features flowers perhaps irises, foliage, and scrolled elements. The terracotta base is finished to resemble hammered copper or bronze; and the shade has matching detail and painting. It has two sockets with pull chain switches. Very interesting rare design. It is numbered on the bottom as shown. No cracks or repairs to the glass or terracotta. The paint appears all original, with only minimal antique wear. The sockets are in original condition. Arts Crafts Rookwood Pottery Slag Glass Antique Leaded Lamp Handel Roseville Era
Arts Crafts Rookwood Pottery Slag Glass Antique Leaded Lamp Handel Bradley Hubbard Era. Thats a huge savings overall for sure. I have for sale this very nice leaded slag glass lamp on a Rookwood pottery base. The glass is this lamp is off the charts as you can tell by the vibrancy in the photos. Its a pretty striking difference when on vs off. In person, this lamp is absolutely striking when lit, and will command whatever room its located in. This is a full sized lamp measuring in at 21 inches tall with the shade being 16.5 inches wide. The Rookwood pottery base with no breaks, cracks, or losses in the and in fine working order and in very nice condition. Its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. They even sent me a picture theirs and it was signed and Roman numerically dated 1926 and the pattern is called poppy/wheat for obvious reasons. I thank this Rookwood collector for their expertise in helping my listing. The leaded shade again with excellent red and green and yellow glass segments with the glass condition being very very good on this shade with maybe a minor tight stress crack here or there but nothing detracting by any stretch of the imagination. Maker unknown but of great quality for sure. Please look at photos closely as they are certainly part of the overall description. Antique Arts & Crafts Matte Green Pottery Lamp with Slag Glass Shade Weller Teco
This is a really sweet old vase to lamp conversion. Vase is believed to be by Weller but we will welcome your opinion on that. It is quite large at 11″ Tall x about 6.5″ diameter. It comes as pictured with a really nice, ornate slag glass shade from the same era that was clearly finished to match the lamp. All work looks to have been done many years ago. There is some finish wear on the lamp cap as well as the vase itself. Very cool patina overall. I would also mention the vase is a darker green in person. The light in the room washed it out a bit in the pictures. The vase shows no cracks or damage and is unsigned. Shade also has no cracked glass and looks phenomenal with it’s caramel and red colored glass. Really cool piece when lit. Leaded Lamp, Hampshire Pottery, Slag Glass Shade, Arts Crafts, Handel Lamp Era
Up for consideration is a nice Tulip Leaded glass lamp with a rare large Hampshire pottery signed Tulip base. The shade Is a Bent Slag leaded glass shade which I believe is a Whaley. Very difficult to make shades that have the bent Slag glass with the leaded Tulip flowers. The shade is 16 Diameter 7 Deep with a 3 1/2 aperture. Condition is very good. I see no cracks but there are some straw marks from the making of the glass and they have dirt over the years so they look like cracks but dont show thru on the inside of the shade. Wear to the leading. But being a antique thats to be expected. The base is a Rare Tulip signed Hampshire pottery 0013 with even the rare paper labels which are still there all these years. No cracks or repairs in the pot. The 3 socket cluster has Hubbell, s with orig. Interiors and acorn pulls mounted to a large brass oil lamp font thats been converted to electric. The base stands 20 tall and is about 12 wide. The base has been wired with period style cloth covered wire. I took a lot of pictures which is part of the description. A great looking lamp.
