Antique 1930s Art Deco Cast Polychrome Parrot Lamp Holding Cage Slag Glass Works
A ca 1930′s polychrome cast metal parrot lamp in working condition. The socket on this lamp has been replaced and the cap on the cage is missing. It would have originally turned on at the base. Mid 20th century porcelain vase mounted as a lamp and attributed to Samson, France. In the manner of Chinese export porcelain, it is hand decorated with raised enameling with a crest motif. This large lamp is 35 to the top of the cut crystal finial. The vase insert is 16 3/8. The base is 5 7/8 square. It is 5 square at the shoulders, the top of which are hand decorated with gold lattice. It’s a beautiful thing in superb condition. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” – US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Please don’t ask. 1930s ART NOUVEAU SLAG GLASS TABLE LAMP
This 1930s classic Art Nouveau two-light table lamp is made of cast iron (base, shade cap & finial), heavy cast metal (stem body & shade frame), & brass (rolled & embossed Eastlake pattern on upper stem & spun socket bodies). It has the original dark brown finish & patina; surfaces were lightly washed with soap & water. The eight original slag glass panels are green with swirls of white. All slag glass panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This large Art Nouveau slag glass lamp stands 22 1/2 tall & has a 18 1/2 wide shade. The cast iron lamp base measures 7 1/2 in diameter. Original pull-chain light sockets are rewired with brown cloth covered cord & a new repro bakelite plug. It weighs just over 20 lbs. 1930s ART NOUVEAU TABLE LAMP With SLAG GLASS SHADE-RAINAUD
This 1930s Art Nouveau two-light slag glass lamp was made by Rainaud (raised letters on bottom of base). It is made of cast iron (base), heavy cast metal (stem, shade cap, finial, and shade frame), and rolled sheet metal (stem tube) & brass (socket bodies). It has been restored to the original caramel. The original slag glass panels are cream with swirls of honey. All the slag glass panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The lamp stands 22 tall & the shade is 16 wide. The lamp base is 8 in diameter. Original Bryant pull chain light sockets are rewired with brown cloth covered cord & a new repro bakelite plug. It weighs 9 1/4 lbs. Light bulbs not included. Antique 1930′s Art Deco Pair Mission Arts & Crafts Style Slag Glass Lamp Shade
Antique 1930′s Art Deco Pair Mission Arts & Craft style green slag glass lamp shades. The finish is in good condition (without the rust), one shade have little white painting on the side (see my photo), metal chain trim is separated from the base on small areas on both shades (see my photo) and one corner or divider piece is slightly separate from the base (see my photo). The glass panels have rough edges inside the shade, I think it’s just the way it was made, not that something happened to it. Opening at the top is about 3.2″ D and on the bottom is 6.8″ x 6.8. Each panel is 4.8″L x about 4″ Wide at the bottom and 2 Wide at the top. Please view photos carefully it is a part of description. If you need more photos ask. See my listing for other good items.
