Unusual Colorful Leaded Slag Stained Glass Handel Duffner Tiffany Era Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. The entire shade is made out of granite backed glass and when you light it up it just fires up beautifully. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here as they can do a better job of describing this lamp than I can, but will say that this lamp is in excellent overall condition with no replaced glass and having only 2 or 3 small cracks. This is a full sized table lamp with a 18 1/2″ diameter shade that stands 25″ tall. The base is solid cast pot metal with its original dark greenish finish. It has been recently rewired and comes ready to use and enjoy. I wish I could attribute a maker to this lamp, but I honestly do not know who did it. Its just a great looking overall lamp that will surely please anyone looking at it. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. UNUSUAL 18 8 PANEL BENT SLAG GLASS LAMP SHADE With SPHINX
This listing is for a unusual 18 Eight Panel Bent Slag Glass Lamp Shade. Egyptian revival motif, with 8 bent slag glass panels with overlaid straps and Egyptian sphinx around the lower border. Very nice colorful cold painted highlights of the sphinx and shaped around the border and top of the shade. The paint on these shades are rarely found in this good of condition, usually has been worn off over the years. This one is very nice with minimal wear. The slag glass is colorful and has no damage, cracks or chips. X 3-7/16″ diameter top x 18-3/4″ diameter bottom. Unusual Antique Stained Glass Slag Lamp Shade
Not an expert on these so I do not know how to describe the style… I have been told that the variations in the glass means it is slag glass?
