Up for consideration is a very fine Signed and numbered 10 Handel painted woodland scene shade with a 2.25 fitter. The shade is in very nice condition. No cracks or repairs. This is a molded shade so you see the faint mold lines inside of the shade. They are not repairs as Handel used molded to produce there shades. These loose shades are hardly found for sell. Handel Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Reverse Painted Lamp Bradley Hubbard Era
This is a very hard to find and quite desirable handel base in this gold colored patina. Great form and color with the base measuring 23 inches tall. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It has its original three socket hubbell cluster and its been recently rewired with correct period style cloth cord and old style plug. The patina worn a little bit here or there on the base as would be expected for a 100 year old base. This base would have had a reverse painted shade on it and most likely in a desirable bird motif as such its a way better than average handel lamp base. The base with its original cap and finial and and bottom felt with Handel tag. Tag has been reapplied by myself as the 100 year old glue has given out. I merely mention this for accuracy sake. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Very nice Handel Harp Floor Base with painted shade. I have to say this is one of the nicest Handel Lamps Ive seen. The lamp is all correct. Ill start with the shade. Shade is 10 Dia. 5 1/2 tall with a 2.25 fitter. The shade is properly signed and numbered as shown. Great heavy texture paint on the outside that really fires up a very nice woodland scene. There are no cracks or repairs that I see. These shades where molded so you see the mold line on the inside. This is not a repair. The base is signed on the bottom as shown. Base is 57 tall with a 12 foot. This base has a fantastic brown and green patina. Everything on this base is correct including the orig. Hubbell Socket with orig. The base has been rewired with cloth brown period wire and has a orig. Just a great Handel example looking for a new home. Handel Arts Crafts Leaded Slag Glass Vintage Antique Bradley Hubbard Era Lamp
I have for sale this very very nice Handel leaded hanging shade. This is a seldom seen arts and crafts design that only Handel has ever used for their lamp works. It has great glass and It measures 24 inches wide and is 12 inches tall. There is no missing segments of glass and the leading is all tight and right throughout. This is a great hanging shade and extremely well built. No broken areas of glass and the leading all tight and right. The original handel hardware still in place including several links of the original very heavy chain and its five socket (all matching) cluster. Handel Reverse Painted Daffodil Lamp Leaded Slag Glass Tiffany Pairpoint Era
For sale is a superb Handel table lamp having a reverse painted shade with bright yellow daffodils and shaded green leaves. The shade is also painted with small red flowers with yellow centers that vibrantly accent the shade when lit. The daffodils and red flowers are set against a shaded black and light green background. The exterior of the shade is finished in chipped ice. The 18 inch diameter shade is signed on the inside rim 7122 Handel and the artists initials. The shade is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, paint loss or paint sickness. The shade rests upon a Handel base with an urn shaped body and raised decorative band surrounding the shoulder. The base is complete with a three socket cluster, acorn pulls and a pierced fluer de lis cap. Base has a dark brown finish is signed on the underside with an impressed script signature. The base is in good condition with wear commensurate with its 100 year age. The overall lamp height is 24 inches. Handel 3 socket lamp with Magnificent Old Slag glass Shade
Handel 3 socket lamp w/ Magnificent Old Slag glass Shade. The lamp has three Hubbell sockets with Acorn pull chains. The lamp is signed Handel as shown on bottom and has been recently rewired. The shade is a gorgeous orange poppy with white and green colors. The shade has no broken or cracked pieces that I could find. Note: there is an inner tab (pictured but broken off) where the shade had a signed label and could not be read. The consensus is that it was probably made by Handel or Gorham, you be the judge.
