It is a heavy cast iron metal base with most likely a zinc or pot metal center section as was common. This is a heavy lamp that has been correctly rewired for the two lights and does have it’s original surface but with wear to the antique gold paint. It is a lovely and functional example of early 20th century lighting at the height of the Mission or Craftsman period. The shade is original and measures 16 diameter and the total height is 21 inches. The glass panels of caramel slag are in excellent condition giving a subtle glow when lit. Not signed but iis most likely a Miller lamp. The finial is a typical Miller finial and is original to the lamp.
