A beautiful leaded slag glass lamp by the Unique Art Glass and Metal Lamp Company. This lamp has original base, cap and finial with a beautiful patina. The 17.5 diameter shade has an open tulip design with green leaves. Lamp base has two sockets with acorn pulls and floral decor at base. This is in original condition with great patina and new cloth cord. The shade has 3 corner cracks and w crack in leaf none of which deters from the overal beauty of the lamp. Large Unique Arts leaded glass lamp! This is one big lamp! Shade is 18 in wide 10 in deep! Base is 24 in tall 8 in wide foot. Warning it really is 100 + years old and has hairline fractures! So those afraid of the truth in old shades see ya later! For those well versed in Antique lamps approx 10 and 5 are in the leaves. You won’t care once you light it up! The shade sparkles all around. Antique Arts & Crafts Handel / Unique Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very nice Handel/Unique leaded glass tulip boarder table lamp. Great composition of pink petal tulips and granite backed leaves against a predominately caramel colored, hexagonal form background. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any setting. In terms of size, this is a full sized table lamp with a 16″ diameter shade that stands 22 1/2″ tall. In terms of condition, I see a couple of small cracks here and there, but nothing serious. There are no replaced pieces and the shade has that nice rattle of an old and original lamp. Patina on both the shade and base is just outstanding. For those of you who are new to this, the shade was made by Unique and the base is Handel. Neither are signed as was common, but both are guaranteed to be 100% authentic and date from the early 1900′s. The base has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Great composition of pink flowers and granite backed leaves against a predominately caramel colored background. The rather large and deep shade features the desirable irregular boarder made with the leaves…. Many people find this more attractive than a standard flat bottomed shade. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very unusual, very early, Handel/Unique leaded glass table lamp. I say unusual since I have never seen one like this with such a large flower design. The glass they used in this one is just outstanding and when lit the lamp is essentially on fire! What is really unusual about this one is that the shade is actually SIGNED! I have never seen a Unique shade that was signed, but it is clearly stamped “UNIQUE ART STUDIO, Patented”. Just a beautiful overall shade…. One like no other I have seen before. The shade is 17″ in diameter and 8″ deep. Absolutely excellent condition without any cracks, chips or damage whatsoever. Now for the base…. This is an early Handel one. Solid brass and very well done. Prominently signed HANDEL on the underside. Overall the lamp is 19 1/2 tall. I have seen Handel/Unique combinations before and this is a great example of one that really works together. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine. C 1905 Unique Art Glass co. What makes these lamps are the art glasses used in making them. You can find Periwinkle Unique Art lamps but the ones with the right glass explode with beauty when lit! LOOK at the top glass Tiffany used the same glass that’s on the top geometric part of this shade. I think I saw one hairline fracture in one of the green leaves that’s it and that’s from heat normal wear, better than normal it’s amazing! Shade is 16″ wide 9″ deep. Base is gorgeous as well with appropriate cap with attached finial. 3 Eagle sockets with satellite pull chains. Nice brown cloth cord & vintage style plug. Antique Arts & Crafts Unique Apple Blossom Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp

Copied after the popular Tiffany design, this 100% original Unique apple blossom is a beautiful example. I have only had this lamp one time before and this example is much nicer than that one. The colors are deeper and the contrast between the flowers and the background is much better. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any arts & crafts setting. In terms of size, this is a full sized table lamp. The shade measures 16″ in diameter and the lamp stands 23″ tall. In terms of condition, I see a couple of small cracks here and there, but nothing serious. There are no replaced pieces and the shade has that nice rattle of an old and original lamp. Patina on both the shade and base is just outstanding. Even Paul Crist recognized that this version copied one of Tiffany’s designs as it is pictured in his book Mosaic Shades II on page 62 where he calls it a “close copy” of a Tiffany design (my last picture is a picture of this page). The spun copper base is typical of Unique and this one has 3 long Hubbells with their original interiors and acorn pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Folks, this is a great lamp in and of itself. It is a fully authentic, period, leaded glass table lamp from Unique… And a fairly rare one at that.
