Antique Suess Poinsettia Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Duffner Handel Tiffany
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is an absolutely HUGE and wonderful table lamp by Suess. It is an enormous lamp! I believe the pattern is called the poinsettia, but it is essentially an exposition of flowers! I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the very elegant and well thought out design of this beautiful lamp. This is massive table lamp with an 24″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. In terms of condition, I see only a few minor hairlines here and there, but nothing serious. The solid bronze tree trunk base is the best Suess made and just goes wonderfully with this floral themed shade. It is beautifully detailed and super heavy and sturdy. The finish is just fantastic. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Suess did not sign their shades or bases and thus this one is not signed anywhere, but you can find similar examples of these out there. If you like HUGE lamps and are looking for a truly impressive example, this one is for you. It is just a fabulous lamp all the way around. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Offered for sale is a Bradley & Hubbard Poinsettia Table Lamp with all 6 panels having a metal overlay of poinsettia design that match the patinated base with incised poinsettias. The bottom of the base is marked with Bradley & Hubbard mark and #261 as shown in pics. It has 2 light sockets and measures 23 tall. The shade is 15 in diameter. Massive Handel Leaded Slag Stained Glass Poinsettia Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a MASSIVE lamp….. It has a 24″ diameter shade and stands an impressive 28 1/2″ tall. Just stunning to look at with a lovely boarder of bright poinsettias. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here since they can do a better job than I can. As you look at them take note of the fact that the lamp is in excellent overall condition with maybe a few hairlines here and there. The base has a beautiful dark brown patina and has all of its original hardware. Both base and shade are signed as shown. The lamp has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. Folks, this is a great looking, large and really impressive lamp. It has just become too difficult and costly to do so effectively. It is actually much better for both of us this way as they will fully guarantee it to get there without damage and if something happens they will 100% stand behind it without any claims hassle. I have worked with this UPS Store over many years and they do a great job with things like this. You are also more than welcome to come and get it yourself, or if we are close I can meet you somewhere with it.
