This is a beautiful lamp shade there are several areas that are broken. Please refer to last picture for details. You can’t tell that these areas are broken due to the marbling look the glass has. Lamp shade is beautiful. Colors are Green, purple, Ivory, and white. I tried to take the pictures outside so the light would reflect it’s beauty. All measurments are in the pictures. This is a must have lamp shade. Good used vintage condition. All of my items come from estate sales, local auctions or garage sales. I sell them in the same condition that I find them. Rare to find such a gorgeous old lamp, beautiful, ornate, and immense – a true statement piece! 36″ tall to top of finial 20 1/8″ diameter The shade alone is 15″ high with a top opening of 9 1/2″ 16″ across at the candle arms Candle bobeches are 3 1/2″ diameter Octagon base is 9 across The filigree is intricate and ornate There are 6 vertical rows of filigree, each containing 4 aurora borealis jeweled crystals, wired in – stunning! THE LAMP BODY WAS CAST OUT OF WHITE ALLOY IN A FORM OF A COUNTRY BASKET DECORATED WITH FOLK STYLE OWL, OAK. THE FINISH IS BRONZE-GOLD PLATING OVER SPELTER. THE SHADE IS VERY UNUSUAL. SLAG GLASS, WITH CUSTOM PRESSED EMERALD GREEN GLASS INSERTS. INSERT IS AN OWL HEAD. IDENTICAL IN DESIGN TO THE. METAL OWL ON THE LAMP’S BASE THAT STANDS ON THE OLD WOOD.
