Description: Up for sale is this very interesting kerosene lamp. It has never been converted to electric and is in the condition as it would have been used in the late 19th or early 20th century. Shade is a very nice 8 panel green slag glass with green, brown and cream swirls. Glass is textured with a “cat’s paw” imprint that bends the light as it passes through. Edge of shade has a nice Greek Key design. The loops below this would have hung small glass beads from each loop. Now long since lost. Burner is a double Young’s Duplex with clear glass reservoir. Stem is brass with black terra cotta base. All said a very nice “untouched” lamp from the late 19th or early 20th century that might be of interest.
