Arts & Crafts Handel Bronze Floor Lamp with Green Slag Glass Shade – 1920′s. This well-documented Handel floor lamp is very beautiful, with chocolate brown patina throughout and two sections that are ribbed and golden in color for contrast. The original heavy cast socket cover and Bakelite switch are perfect. The shade has carmel and green slag glass with a reticulated Arts & Crafts style border. Neither shade nor base is signed but it’s a documented Handel floor lamp. The base most likely had a fabric label which has long since deteriorated. The bridge swivels 360 degrees and the socket cover is fully-adjustable making this a very versatile and well-designed lamp. The shade has four caramel slag and four green glass panels.
