This lamp has a hexagon shaped base which is tiered in descending hexagon sizes with the base measuring 7 across on one side and 8 wide at the widest point. Note that this lamp has an on/off switch at the base. There is also switches on each of the three light sockets. The shade on this lamp measures 15 1/4 diameter and at the widest point is 17 1/2.
