Art Nouveau Slag Glass Caramel Six Panel Electric Table Lamp With Filigree
From a Sarasota, Florida home is this lovely antique Art Nouveau slag glass table lamp with caramel-colored panels and filigree shade frame. The lamp appears to be unmarked but is probably by the Miller Lighting Co. Or similar maker from the early 20th century. The lamp stands approximately 20″ high and the shade is 15″ in diameter. The six glass panels are in good condition with no chips or cracks that I can see. A few condition notes: the frame has the original finish and is worn in scattered areas (see photos). There are a couple small areas of loss to the filigree and one of the shade struts is slightly warped. Lastly, some of the metal flanges that keep the glass panels snugged against the frame are missing near the top of the shade. So, not perfect but still a very nice lamp. I should also note that the wiring is quite old and if you plan to use the lamp, please consider getting this rewired for safety.
