Chicago Mosaic Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Acorn Lamp Handel Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really cool and I believe fairly rare Chicago Mosaic acorn boarder lamp. Very neat two-tier design with great acorn and oak leaf boarder. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is all original and there are maybe 4 or 5 small cracks in the whole shade. The shade is 18 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands 25″ tall. The shade is supported on a better than average 4-footed Chicago Mosaic base which retains its original dark green finish, original sockets, cap and finial. Chicago Mosaic lamps are fairly common, but I have only seen a few of these with this design. If you have ever wanted a very nice and unusual example of one of these, this may be the one for you. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
