RARE Wilkinson Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is fairly rare example of Wilkinson’s acorn lamp. The shade is done with a green band of “acorns” on a white background and the rest of the shade is brickwork green. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the shade is in excellent condition with maybe 1 or 2 small cracks and there are no replaced pieces. The shade is 16 1/4″ in diameter and the lamp stands a little under 24″ tall. The heavy cast metal base is stamped 288 and has the characteristic “feet holes” in the bottom (like all Wilkinson’s do). It has its original cap. And Hubbell labeled sockets. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
