Antique ARTS & CRAFTS Caramel Slag Glass & Cast Iron Table Oil Lamp; B&H? Success Brass Burner & bowl. Gorgeous caramel slag glass inserts! My research showed that this lamp was made by Bradley & Hubbard though it is not signed there is a signature on the base (see photos), but it is too worn to be legible. The shade is numbered #1362 (see photos). The frame is very heavy and sturdy Cast Iron and is in excellent condition. It is a round wick. Wick assembly raises and lowers wick as it should; and burner is in super condition. The entire bowl is removable. It is intact, but has a few splits in it that would need to be soldered before filling the tank. The glass inserts (in the shade only) have a few problems; there is a small space in 1 of the inserts where a notch of glass is missing (see photos; that side of lamp could be turned towards wall, or glass could be replaced). One other panel has a very, very tight hairline (I think, it is so fine, that I’m not sure it wasn’t in the making of the glass) but glass is solid as a rock. One little glass bracket that holds one of glass panels in place has been replaced (see photos of inside of shade). It is a professional job and holds the panel perfectly. I do not have a chimney for this lamp; but a replacement chimney would be easy to find if you wish to use the lamp for buring oil. This is a WONDERFUL, old and rare lamp for the lamp collector or Arts & Crafts / Mission collector. Lamp is 19 1/2″ tall; shade is 11″ x 11.
