Antique Arts & Crafts Slag Glass Lamp Shade or Base, Tiffany Desk Set Style

Unusual octagon slag glass reticulated shade or Whatsit? Measures 9.5 across two straight sides of the octagon. The round hole has a diameter of 8.5 and it appears something once sat there. The other side appears like a base–there’s wear there. It reminds me of the Tiffany Pine Needle desk set, which also has slag panels behind a reticulated or pierced base. All glass panels appear original. Frame does not hold a magnet and has an applied patina. It’s quite solid. Anyone seen this pattern or flower before? Palmate leaf pattern, but not papyrus I don’t think. I’d sure appreciate any help with identification. I’ve seen lots of octagon slag lamps, but none whose bases and domed tops are separate.
