Wonderful period Arts & Crafts style table lamp of wrought iron and sheet iron and purplish blue slag glass. It stands about 19 inches tall and 14 inches wide. The base is about 10 inches square. The shade is removable from the base. The shade measures is about 9 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches wide. Imparts a beautiful and inviting mellow warm light. Very unusual and perfect for an arts & crafts period setting with Stickley furniture etc. I would recommend rewiring. May have originally been an oil or kerosene lamp? Here is a period, Art Deco, signed, Rainaud 8 panel, carmel slag glass table lamp with it’s original verde-green metal base. The base and the finial are of a classic style and all original to the lamp. The lamp from the top to bottom measures, 23 1/2 inches. The shade is 18 inches in diameter. The shade shows prior repair. Pictures show two panels that have damage. There is also separation in the metal banding. Please view photos, 6 through 9. Working cord, two bulb lamp. It is constructed from Spelter Metal and retains its original painted surface. The surface is near perfect with only a couple of very tiny marks. All the slag glass is original and the only real problem is two missing tabs on the inside. These tabs help hold the glass panels in place. This only problem with this 20″ diameter by 23″ tall, early 20. We also list quality antiques, art & collectibles every day.
