Lot of 2 Vtg Mid Century Modern Nader Chunky Slag Glass Tin Accent Lantern Lamps
The plug needs to be replaced on one lamp for safety, please read entire ad. This ad is for TWO Nader lamps. Gorgeous Nader lamps in good to great vintage condition. Some of the black paint has chipped off in some spots throughout the two lamps and there are a few light surface scratches all consistent with age and use. The glass chunks are sturdy and there are no cracks. The lamps are exactly alike with the exception of the cords/plugs (one is brown and one is black). There is a “Nader” sticker at the base of one of the lamps but not on the others. Important The black plug has a crack that has exposed metal wiring. It is in working condition but this will need to be replaced for safety. The lamps do not have an accessible on/off switch. They turn on and off by way of plugging in and unplugging. To replace the bulbs you will have to unscrew the two screws/bolts at the bottoms. Be extremely careful when doing so as it is awkwardly shaped and top heavy. 16.00 inches tall. 6.00 inches x 6.00 inches at widest points, roof. Each lamp weighs approximately 5 pounds. Awesome true vintage chunky slag glass hanging chain lamp! This piece is in overall excellent shape only needing cleaning of the dust that has collected in nooks and crannies. I did not find any cracks, breaks, gouges, etc… There might be a few very minor light surface scuffs possible to be found, but if you were to find anything they would basically go unnoticed when looking at this lamp overall. Lamp is in working condition. This lamp weighs 13.5lbs on its own and measures 18″ tall x 8″ in diameter. The brass chain is pretty clean, not all sticky and gross from years of dust like you find on the majority of these kind of vintage lamps. The slag glass chunks are quite thick and are present in 3 different colors; Cobalt Blue, Green, and a Sea Blue color.
