Small Unusual Lamp With Slag Glass Shade
This small lamp has a slag glass shade with 8 granite textured panels. There are four light and four dark panels alternating in the shade. The base has three candelabra sockets and is operated with a turn button switch on the bottom of the base. The brass finish on the lamp is in great shape and it has a very ornate finial. Has been rewired with cloth covered cord and is ready to use. The shade is 9 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall. The base is 5.5 inches wide and the lamp is 18 inches tall to the top of the finial.
Small Empire Slag Glass Table Lamp Circa 1915-1925
This lamp was made by the Empire Lamp Co. As you can see it in the pictures from the old catalogue. The lamp is in great condition, with all of its bent panels undamaged and a gold finish that is in great shape. Has been rewired with a cloth covered cord. The shade is 5 ½ inches tall and 7 ¼ inches wide. The base is 15 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Please look at all of the pictures, thank you. The spelter metal shade measures 13″ diameter by 6 1/2″ tall and has 8 panels of green and white slag glass and red swirled glass. One of the green glass panels has been replaced. The restorer matched the color when this lamp is lit however, unlit you can’t see the difference. There are no other problems or restorations to this antique Bradley & Hubbard Lamp. The wiring looks to be original and although this lamp does work, we always recommend having antique wiring checked out before using it in your home..
