Antique Slag Glass Oil Lamp ANTIQUE LATE VICTORIAN 1890s Red Globe ATTERBURY

From the collection of Anita Grasshoff, who in the 1970s had the world’s largest slag glass collection. A beautiful primitive antique 1890s hand gathered slag glass lamp with a clear globe and original brass fixture made by ATTERBURY co of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Overall, it is in good condition, the globe is excellent with no damage whatsoever, the only damage is a large chip to the side of the slag, and then some general minor base chips to the very base rim. Absolutely stunning with nice slag glass swirl similar to that of antique Marbles. It is attached to the globe with the original brass threaded connector. Altogether this lamp stands at 11 1/2 inches tall and the base measures about 4 1/2 inches across.
