Arts Crafts Slag Glass Antique Vintage Art Deco Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Era
Arts Crafts Slag Glass Antique Vintage Art Deco Lamp Bradley Hubbard Handel Era. That’s an unbelievable savings!!! This is not a common lamp and its in very nice overall condition. I have old probably 20 -30 different Parker lamps throughout the years and seen many more, but i have never seen this one before. What a cool lamp and good luck ever finding another one. The lamp even retaining its original felt on the bottom along with the original Charles Parker tag. This is rarely the case with 100 year plus old lamps and so cool it still has it in place and in good condition. This is a full sized lamp measuring in at 22 inches tall with the shade being 19 inches wide. So that said, lets start with the shade. No missing glass segments in the shade of course and no filligree losses around the border of the shade. Patina on the shade matching the base. No breaks or cracks in the slag glass panels nor the butterfly areas to be seen. The glass colors in the the butterfly areas just supercool, please see photos. Now onto the base. Its in fine working order and again there is no damage to report. No dents or dings or metalware loses. Some small areas of patina discoloration here or there but nothing to worry about by any stretch and as to be expected for a 100+ year old lamp. Great art nouveau design work that Charles Parker is known for. The base recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. Base also retains its original Harvey Hubbell sockets that are in fine working order. This lamp will command any room its put in and lights up better than photographed. It would look particularly well sitting on a Stickley or Limbert style table due to its arts and crafts design and form. All in all a super nice arts and crafts/art nouveau lamp thats on the rare side for sure. From there our rates will increase from the base price posted for the Eastern Time Zone as follows. Central Time Zone Add: 15%. Mountain Time Zone Add: 25%. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Horseheads ny to Detroit mi, Detroit mi to Chicago il, Chicago il to Indianapolis In to Cincinnati oh, Cincinnati oh to Pittsburgh pa, Pittsburgh to Washington dc, Washington dc to manhattan ny, manhattan ny to boston ma, boston ma to Albany ny, Albany ny to buffalo ny. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding.
