Vintage Filigree Pink Slag Glass Electric Table Lamp Art Noveau Repaired 16

Okay, I may have taken some liberties with the category listings. I don’t know what metal it is, so I put spelter. It has a heavy base which is good to hold the glass shade up. I said Art Nouveau from the lovely heads on the base, and the color is old metal that looks like heavily tarnished silver to me. With that out of the way, the lamp is 16 tall approximately. My parents where antique collectors and Dad was a welder by trade from WWII. So the base is split diagonally and repaired. The top side piece of the shade is repaired above where there is missing filigree. I wasn’t sure of the terminology for see-through metal shade so I called it filigree. Lovely swirls and flowers on shade. The shade measures 5 1/2″ tall x 7″ across bottom side. Four sides, only one with damage. Pull switch, Dad must have replaced lightbulb holder and cord years ago, so if you wish, you can replace it too. It works for me. Long cord, I didn’t unravel it to measure. The base pedestal is approximately 8 without lightbulb holder. Base is 4 1/2 square. It has a little wobble to it, but a tiny furniture dot would probably fix that great. The top of the pedestal has heads in circle medallions, two look the same and the other two are both different from each other. The bottom 2/3 of pedestal is ornately decorated. Then, there are the l lovely faces on the base and one even has the cord coming out of it. I love the lamp, just don’t have a place for it now. Nice for a guest room bedside table, or nighttime accent lamp to give a little extra light. Right now, it’s got a standard bulb holder. The four pieces of slag glass are undamaged. I put a 40 w round bulb in for pictures (not included). I think it’s a little too much wattage. It got hot after 5 minutes. You will need a normal size screw light but shorter than a light bulb.
