John Morgan Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a great example of what I believe to be an early John Morgan lamp. Simple yet sophisticated with fantastic yellow colored panels that just glow when lit. Shade is basically flaw free with all original bent slag glass panels that use granite backed glass. 16″ diameter shade; 18 1/2″ tall. The simple trumpet style base has its original dark green finish, matching sockets with satellite end pulls, and original finial. Now before you ask me….. The lamp has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
