Handel Arts Crafts Mission antique Leaded Slag Glass Bradley Hubbard Era Lamp
I have for sale this very nice Handel double student desk lamp. These are seldom seen and very desirable for that reason. This is about as arts and crafts style as you will ever see. The base measures 20.5 inches tall and the shades are 6.5 inches wide. The base without issue, which means no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. It’s properly signed on the bottom, has a very nice chocolate brown patina, and has been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. It even has its original metal turn key switches which 8 out of 10 times those are replaced with the plastic crappy ones from the 50′s or 60′s. The shades also signed, please see photo, and in original condition with all pieces of glass present as well, as well all the filigree. No breaks in the glass to be found and the shade without any breaks anywhere in the metal ware although there are a couple of small separations here or there in the small lower segments of the filigree. Please look at photos as they are extremely small and due to the very fragile nature of the filigree in that particular area. They are quite meaningless and do not detract from the lamp but I mention them for accuracy sake. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers. We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well. Manhattan ny to boston ma. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding.
