Leaded lamp, antique slag, stained glass arts and crafts, handel, whaley B&H era
Up for your consideration is an unsigned arts and crafts style bent glass leaded lamp. The lamp is 21″ inches tall and the shade is 16″ inches in diameter and 6 1/2 inches deep. This bent panel shade has lovely glass and is decorated with stylized acanthus leaves at the rim. My wife and I actually considered keeping it but, alas I have way too many lamps and need to sell a few. The shade is in excellent condition with very few tight hear cracks but they don’t detract from the lamps beauty at all. The base has wear appropriate with its age and is wired with newer vinyl covered wire. Both sockets are replacements and are in working order. I can rewire the lamp with period cloth wire and install old period sockets if you desire but this lamp needs nothing unless you are a purist. I have many types of sockets including Hubbells with acorn pull chains or paddles and plenty of wire. I tell you this because I don’t cut corners on material and have never had an issue with a damaged lamp. Please contact me with any questions. Andrew 301 407 5688 Thank you.
