1920′s Empire Lamp Co. Chicago SLAG GLASS Lamp & Shade Flower Dogwood Filigree HTF Green. Lamp is dusty/dirty from years in storage. It is the buyers responsibility to clean the lamp. Shade 20″ wide x 10″ from base of shade to top of finial. Lamp and shade 25 tall. Shade measures 62 circumference. Packages will be FULLY INSURED. This is a nice slag glass panel lamp with matching floral motif on the base and shade frame. It has two color slag glass the upper 8 panels are caramel and white, while the bottom 8 panels are caramel, white and green. It has a bronze/gold like finish with slight verdigris in the recessed areas of the surface. This lamp is by the Empire Lamp Company of Chicago, it is unsigned which is often the case with Empire Lamps. It is pictured with various bases in the book Electric Lighting of the 20′s and 30′s, Volume 2 on pages 15, 17 and 18.
