This beautiful lamp is the epitome of exotic art deco style and glamour. The lamp is finely crafted and detailed and made of cast metal. The dodecagon-shaped base features a brass-plated finish with rotary switch. A patinated foliate spacer with two arabesque arms supports a faux-Agate slag glass sphere. The colorful and beautiful parrot, which is beautifully cold-painted rests atop the base and holds a bird cage in his mouth. The cage features draped swagged decoration on its sides with brass-plated top accented in bright red. The cage houses the light bulb. The lamp is in working condition and looks wonderful when on; it will add whimsy and style to any interior and make a great conversation piece! Lamp presents well and is in good antique, working condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age. There is minor scattered loss to painted finish and oxidation.
