Antique Slag Glass Lit Base Table Lamp Bradley Hubbard Miller Pittsburg Era
A gorgeous Art Nouveau turn of the 20th century carmel and cream slag glass table lamp. Featuring a three way lighting option. Top only, top and bottom or bottom only when lit. Beautifully detailed ornate metal trim surrounds the slag glass panels and base. Push through double brass sockets at top. The base light is turned on by a pull chain at the top of the base column. Wiring has been updated and replaced. Dimensions are 23″ tall to top of finial, 8 1/4″ across the base. The shade is 18 3/4″ wide and 7 3/4″ tall. In very good antique used age appropriate condition. No cracks in the glass and all metal tabs are present. I find some age appropriate light finish loss to the metal parts. There is a fine hairline separation of the metal tubing where it comes together, under the sockets. This does not effect form or function of the lamp. This quite possibly could have been there since manufacture. The lamp has red acetate film under some of the filigree metal scroll work and a few of those pieces are missing. They could be replaced with red film if you so desire. I do not find any makers marks on the lamp. Please see all photos as they are part of the description also.
