Prairie Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Table Lamp Early 1900′s Slag Glass Electric
Up for sale here folks is a nice Mission Oak lamp from the early 1900′s. It has a slag glass top and was originally an oil lamp. The electric conversion works good, this is a very quality and original lamp. See pictures it truly is a beauty. No chips in any of the glass pieces and all of the wood is in great condition with no splinters or anything chipped off. The pictures don’t do this piece justice when it’s lit. This thing is sturdy. However there are very few scuffs on the lamp. Nothing noticeable until closely examined. Looks like the metal is aged slightly. One small dent in the metal no bigger in diameter than a dime. Metal ballast holding light and chimney in place jiggles. 25 inches from base to the top of the clear glass chimney. The bottom of the wooden base itself is 6.5″ x 6.5″ square. The 4 arms measure 10 on each side at the base of the shade. The shade itself measures 14″ x 14″ and the shade is 6.5 high. The Chimney protrudes 2.25 out of the shade. It has a cord to plug in that is 3 feet 3 inches long from the base of the lamp. This is a great looking piece of history to use in your home. It is a fully functional piece of art history.
