Antique Scenic Slag Glass Lamp 3 Sockets Arts & Crafts Miller Handel Signed WB
This is a beautiful slag glass lamp from circa 1920! The lamp features a 12 panel shade with scenic trees and cabin. The base is phenomenal on this lamp. We have owned dozens of this style of lamp though the years and this is the heaviest base I believe I have ever known… It is not smelter or blended metals as on many of these. It appears to be either cast iron or bronze and has a true copper plating on it. There are spots where the plating is worn but it is still very impressive overall. The form is true to the Arts & Crafts period. Please see all pictures. The base is equipped with a 3 socket cluster which has newer sockets and cord. Bottom of base is signed WB. There is also a stock number. Not sure of the maker of this lamp but it is a high quality piece. If you have any info you’d like to share, we welcome info and opinions : Base is approx 23″ tall and shade is a little over 18″ in diameter.
