Antique Bradley & Hubbard Arts and Crafts Mission Slag Glass Lamp Cast Iron. Antique Bradley and Hubbard Lamp, cast iron with green slag glass. It has been converted from oil to electric. The lamp is in good antique condition (see photos). The frame is made of cast iron with some kind of paint or finish on it. It is a very solid, heavy frame. There are slag glass panels in the base of the lamp and also in the shade. The metal ring that supports the shade is broken in two places (see photos), but it works fine and is not visible when the shade is on the base. The lamp is about 20″ tall, 11″ wide and 11 deep. It weighs almost 17 pounds. Apparently the actual oil burner was replaced somewhere along the line. The burner it has now is marked “The Rochester”, and it has been modified to allow an electric bulb. The lamp currently is set up to use one electric bulb. In my opinion the lamp would look even better with one or even two small bulbs in the base, to light up the smaller glass panels, and a larger bulb under the shade. The glass is in very good condition. The glass panels in the shade are easy to remove for cleaning. Most of the items I sell come from estate sales and have imperfections.
