Duffner & Kimberly Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Tiffany Era

Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a nice example of a later Duffner & Kimberly arts & crafts lamp. I say later since the design of the cluster and cap were modified. Please see my last picture of the cluster setup as it is identified in Paul Crist’s Book, Mosaic Shades II. And the base was made simpler as the company faced. Still, these later lamps were made with the quality one would expect from Duffner, even in the face of the company’s impending demise. This particular one features a. Style shade with oblong jewels in the boarder. The jewels to me look like amber with streaks of white in them….. Just beautiful to look at. They protrude out from the shade as one of my images shows. This is a full sized table lamp with an 18″ diameter shade that stands 22″ tall. I see two or three small cracks in the dark brown apron pieces, but none in the triangular top sections or jewels. The base has a wonderful multi colored patina. It has its original cap, finial, and sockets which are dated June 13,’99. It has been wired with cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
