Parker Antique Arts Crafts Mission Slag Glass Bradley Hubbard Handel Era Lamp
Rare Charles Parker 8 panel slag glass lamp. I’ve had this since around 2010. I bought it with a two of the caramel colored panels cracked. I took it personally to a slag glass artisan a few hours drive from here and he replaced them along with a new styled rayon cord. None of the panels are cracked or broken. It’s a bit dusty along the panel edges and I have elected to just leave it that way. Some of the panels have slight surface chips, very small at the size of a pencil tip and can be seen in photos, which upon closer inspection appear to be broken surface bubbles or just minimal flaws in the glass that have been impacted with years of dust build up. The base has some paint missing which is shown in some of the pics and there are other places where paint is missing as well. This is a 100 year old lamp give or take and has not been fully restored so expect it not to be that way. If you have questions on that please feel free to ask me. Appx 23 high to top of finial. Shade is appx 20 across. TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS. Chances are if there aren’t any, it’s a newer item and you shouldn’t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. Thanks for your understanding. Item listed is used. It has been owned by an unknown number of previous owners and as such may have ended up in a basement, garage, attic, or shed as sometimes over time things fall out of favor. Parker Antique Arts Crafts Mission Slag Glass Bradley Hubbard Handel Era Lamp NR
This is a very nice looking and designed lamp and it lights up incredibly. Not a very common lamp for sure and this one is in excellent overall condition. This is also a very large lamp measuring in at 25 inches tall with the shade being 20 inches wide, so lots of bang for the buck here folks. The base in good working order and recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. The base also in original gold patina throughout and thats in very nice overall condition on the base as well. The base without any metalware damage at all and the embossing is really something so please look at the detail both in the base and on the filligree on the shade. The filligree on the shade also in excellent condition with no losses or breaks there. The glass free of chips, cracks, or losses of any sort. Lamp and shade unsigned but 1000% documented and known to be a Parker, so no question to authenticity there. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well. Zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. Zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three.
