Pair Ornate Antique Carmel Slag Glass Boudoir Lamps 1920s

Offered, in this listing are an elegant pair of Art Nouveau Carmel slag glass boudoir lamps from the 1920s. These beautiful lamps are the real thing and each one features an original Cutler-Hammer brass/copper and porcelain light sockets manufactured in Miwaukee, Wisconsin It also has a round raised stamp on the bottom of each base but there is not enough detail remaining to make out the maker When obtained at a real estate sale in upstate they were in quite bad condition. The electrical cords were crumbling and decades of grime had accumulated. Both electrical cords have been replaced with cloth covered cords and vintage plugs from Vintage Wire & Supply CO. Each lamp has been taken apart and gently cleaned so as to preserve their aged appearance. The hexagonal metal shade is 7 inches tall, 4 inches wide at their top clanging outward to 7 inches wide at their base. Overall each lamp stands 16 inches tall and rests upon a 5 inch diameter base which is covered in green felt. Since both the shade and main body of each lamp is made from cast metal they are quite hefty weighing in at over 5 pounds each. They are in very nice condition with only one small piece of filigree missing on one of the 13 panels. Truly an exquisite set of lamps coming to you from a time nearly one century ago, to bring their warm light to your home.
