Wonderful period Arts & Crafts style table lamp of wrought iron and sheet iron and purplish blue slag glass. It stands about 19 inches tall and 14 inches wide. The base is about 10 inches square. The shade is removable from the base. The shade measures is about 9 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches wide. Imparts a beautiful and inviting mellow warm light. Very unusual and perfect for an arts & crafts period setting with Stickley furniture etc. I would recommend rewiring. May have originally been an oil or kerosene lamp?
