This gorgeous, vintage, slag glass and metal lamp is in wonderful condition. No cracks chips or damage. At one point I believe back in the 1950′s, it was rewired. The current plug does not have the newer, larger sized prong. The glass lampshade is held in place with a round brass cover and finial. Both the cover and the finial have the patina correct with the lamp’s age. The lamp turns on and off with a pull chain which operates easily. There are 4 glass panels. Each side of the lampshade has a Metal floral garland. A partial description would describe the base as intricately decorated with what appears to be the heads of famous statesmen in wreaths (much like a coin), animal heads and fleur de lis.
