This is an original antique (early 20th century) heavy cast metal table lamp with Oriental theme featuring bamboo, water lily, and cattail base, and shade framed in bamboo with tree, bridge, and bird overlay on each panel. The entire piece has the gorgeous original antique bronze finish intact and in excellent condition. The entire piece is near mint. There is no visible damage on any of the glass pieces in the shade, and very little surface wear overall. The metal pieces have acquired a naturally aged patina. There are two electric ball pull-chain sockets in the top. Both are working and the braided cord is in good shape (has probably been replaced). Everything appears to be original, but the finial might have been replaced. The lamp measures 26″ H x 9″ in diameter at the base and 17 1/4 in diameter at the shade. Authentic Arts & Crafts period twelve (12) panel oriental motif lamp shade. No damage identified other than light wear on the ornate metal frame. This item came out of an attic of an estate an was in a wooden crate covered with straw. Dimensions: Three diameter readings were taken across the opposite panels and the readings were 16.0 inches x 16.0 inches x 16 & 1/2 inches. The height is approximately 8 & 1/2 inches. This listing is for a Light-Up Slag Glass Lamp Base with Oriental Motif. Cold painted black, with slag glass panels on each side, overlayed with two walking oriental figures and a running dog. Base has raised leaves and florals around the base and panels. Measures 23-1/4″ tall 7-7/8″ diameter base, tapered. The oriental figures are broke off and missing on one side, it is missing the lid enclosure for the bottom and will need re-wired. Otherwise would make a wonderful lamp base with the right shade. We are listing for your consideration a lovely Antique early 20th century American Metal Slag Glass 6 Panel Table Lamp with Oriental & Peacock Bird Decorations. This lamp is in Excellent Working Condition with some slight wear to the original paint on both the base and the shade. Two of the slag glass panels have some very slight small roughness to the one edge, you cannot see unless you look inside the lamp, the filigree panels cover it. The lamp has been rewired at some point. No other issues, you can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The lamp measures 24 1/2″ tall x 7 3/8″ at the base diameter. The shade measures 8 1/4″ tall x 3″ at the top hole that sits over the heat cap and finial x 17 1/4 wide and together with base weighs approximately 16lbs. The lamp is not marked, we are unsure of the maker, definitely Bradley & Hubbard Miller era. Wonderful colored marbled glass throughout and a great decoration in the filigree of an Oriental scene with 2 people, 1 seated, with 2 trees shrubs and a colored peacock.
