Antique BUTTERFLY Filigree 8-Panel Slag Glass Metal Lamp Edward Miller & Co, NH. Metal base has retained its color and shine. The shade is beautiful and intact. 2 bulb antique lamp has been rewired at some point in the past. It now has a push button control. A gorgeous lamp shade with amazing nature-themed detail including baskets of flowers hanging from a vine with butterflies in attendance. The shade is quite heavy, appears to be bronze with some copper-toned plating remaining as well as a shiny brass top. Each pane features a piece of slag glass with blue and green undertones. I don’t believe the glass is as old as the shade, but the color is perfect. I’ve been holding on to this shade waiting for that perfect base to come along–so far I haven’t found what I’m looking for. So, while I wait, I’ll offer this piece in case there’s a lamp base out there…. All pieces look to be in great condition. No breaks or cracks, the tines to hold the slag glass pieces are present.
