French Antique Art Nouveau Winged Cherub Angel Lamp Slag Glass Shade Purple. This gorgeous cherub lamp is in a classic French style with charming cherub holding the light. The base has a bronze/gold colored look and is in great shape. The cherub has a white spot on the head but is minor and shown in photos. This lamp needs rewired. I don’t test lights this old because I have been shocked too many times. So let’s assume it doesn’t work. It has two light sockets and takes a standard bulb. The shade is missing one piece of slag glass. But the edges are bent and therefore do not sit perfectly flush. This lamp is in need of a collector’s touch or expert’s repair. This piece has a great look to it and measures roughly 13.25 tall. The paint has some chipping from age and the shade was a piece green slag glass that was cut for this lamp so the edges are a bit rough which I think adds to the look. Antique Art Nouveau Figural Winged Lady Slag Glass Lamp Fairy
Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp. Being offered is a very unique Art Nouveau slag glass lamp, with a beautiful, detailed figural winged lady with some leafy foliage on the base and swags of roses, flowers and bows on the shade. The six sided slag glass shade has white to light beige with a few veins of caramel colored glass. The base has two fatboy sockets and has been newly rewired with a period style cord and is ready for use in your home. It has a deep brown patina. I have not been able to find any marks or any information on this lamp from the web. It measures 24″ in height, shade is 18 1/2″ across and the base is 7 1/2 in diameter. The woman stands 8 1/8. The lamp is extremely heavy, weighing about 24 lbs. Please view all pictures provided as they are the best description. Ready for Display or a Light Restoration. Antique Indian & Griffin Figural Slag Glass Lamp. This is a Great looking Art Deco era 1930′s parlor Lamp featuring an Impressive Reticulated Metal Portion with Winged Griffins backed with Beautiful Blue & White Slag Glass. The top corners are decorated by Seated Indians with another 4 figural Busts on the Post. The finish is lightly worn and the top pieces of lighting have been removed years ago but the style & Back Lit Griffins are Simply To Die For! This lamp would be prefect for display where the top is not overly visible or you could easily restore the top portion back to its original former glory. Overall a Very Seldom Seen & Unique Lamp. 1 of 50+ Estate Fresh Items Picked Weekly. Solid as can be with light age wear to the finish. The top at one time was wired with 4 “stems” coming out of the top but they are no longer present. Overall a VERY Impressive looking base with light age wear to the finish but nothing of great concern. The wiring has been updated over the years and although it is functional it should always be looked over by a professional. Overall a very unqiue lamp ready for display or for a light restoration!
