Offered this old beautiful Victorian Boudoir Art Nouneau French Cherub lamp with large filigree clear frosted and ruby slag glass shade. The metal on this lamp is cast spelter metal with shabby look and old great patina with original bronzed polychrome finish. The lamp in fully working condition. The lamp takes 1 standard base chandelier bulb up to 150 watt (not is incl); The glass shade has lots of panels on the filigree brass frame all intact and in absolutely great condition. The metal is in good condition, some scuffs and wear may be seen on the metal surface consistent with the age of this early piece; Please see photos, they part of description! Bradley & Hubbard Banquet Lamp with Slag Glass, Ruby Faceted Jewels
Bradley & Hubbard Banquet Lamp with Slag Glass, Ruby Faceted Jewels and Demonic Figures – 1880′s. This tall banquet lamp is unsigned but has every characteristic of Bradley & Hubbard. They imported these burners from Europe and incorporated them in their lamps. This Imperial burner is fully intact and in perfect condition. Beautiful copper finish and patina throughout, with several different demonic figures around the fount holder and base, and beautiful claw feet. Devil heads, winged lions, and mythological women’s heads surround the metal work. The shade has curved green slag glass panels with five ruby red faceted jewels incorporated within it. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks anywhere to be found. The flame spreader is a replacement but is correct, as is the chimney. The burner functions perfectly. This lamp has not been tested but there are no cracks in the fount so it should hold oil. DIMENSIONS: 32 from base to top of chimney. Shade measures 9 diameter x 8 tall with 5 fitter.
