Early 20th century Prairie School Oak Slag Glass Table Lamp with a square base, straight post and four-sided flaring shade. Lamp measures 22″ tall, base heightis 15″ tall at the socket base bottom dimension 6 1/2″ square the shade is 8″ tall the shade bottom is 11 1/2 square weight with base approximately 9lb 15oz. Very clean , very good to excellent condition with no repairs or damage lovely redish oak finish with Caramel-colored slag glass panels providing an authentic arts & crafts warm glow with low wattage light bulb. Incredible Prairie Dbl Pedestal Mission Oak Slag Glass Lamp C. 1910 Petersen Art
Bought this 20 years ago direct from David Rago at a Seattle show. Prairie style table lamp with cutout crosses. I’ve seen 3 or 4 over the years and believe they were made in Minnesota by Petersen Art Company. It had this older refinish at the time i acquired it. When the refinish was done it was likely disassembled somewhat so an extra nail, reglued parts or a bit of minor repair should be expected (see pics). But all things being equal its in very good original condition. The sockets and pulls, the power cord, glass and wood are original as made. Stunning statement table top lamp at a fraction of the cost of Stickley, Limbert, Tiffany, or Van Earp. Additional pics upon request. Here is a gorgeous Bradley & Hubbard signed table lamp with original green patinated finish. It is in the Prairie School architectural style and dates ca. Both Signed B & H Prairie Slag Glass Lamp and shade/deco/ handel era
Antique Signed Bradley & Hubbard Prairie Slag Glass Lamp with signed Bradley & Hubbard Slag Glass Shade. A beautiful Prairie School designed lamp with great patina, signed and original finial. Three three sockets are marked YOST, which are only used in higher end lamps. The lamp stands 2101/2″ tall with an 8″ base, the lamp base is marked Bradley and Hubbard on the top and the bottom of the base. It is also marked with the number 216 on the bottom as well. The shade is 17 wide and all filigree is intact. The shade is 6 panel caramel colored slag glass, all panels are intact, some slight heat imperfections noted on one panel which does not affect its presentation or use. All shade clips are intact and in place. Heat cap seems to have been replaced at some time. All rewired and ready for use in someone’s home. Nostalgic Lighting Policies READ. Arts & Crafts Prairie Style Gorham Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a stunning example of a beautifully designed and crafted prairie style lamp by Gorham. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass in this one, especially the blue/green pieces, are exceptional and have a wonderful glow when lit. This is a nice sized table lamp with a 17″ diameter shade that stands 21 1/2″ tall. Very, VERY, well crafted and solid. Beautiful prairie style shade has been well cared for….. I don’t even see a single crack in the entire shade. Wonderful solid cast brass base has a. Deep greenish/blue finish that matches the colors in the shade very nicely. Original sockets, heat cap and finial. Wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice. Thanks, and please see my other listings for other great lamps from this period. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times.
