Early Ornate Slag Glass Lamp Circa Early 1900′s
This lamp has a very ornate cast spelter frame and cast iron base. The gold polychrome finish is in good shape. It’s been rewired with a cloth covered cord, the lamp works well and the glass lights up beautifully. The shade is 6 ½ inches tall and 10 ½ inches wide. Best Art Nouveau Ornate Brass Table Lamp Marble Slag Glass Shade. Measures approximately 23″ tall total with an approximately 7 1/2″ diameter base. Shade measures approximately 17 1/2″ diameter x 7″ tall and features 5 slag glass panels. Each panel measures approx. 9 1/2″ tall x 10″ wide tapered down to 2 1/2 wide. This is vintage and pre-owned; Estate found. Tested and works beautifully. Great cosmetic condition considering the age of the piece. There is some weathering/oxidation as well as a split in one of the panels that has been repaired by the previous owner (pictured above).
