Up for consideration is this Rare One of a Kind Awesome Antique Torch Staircase Lamp Polygon Cream Slag Glass Shade and cut glass finial. Being green thinkers we took a hanging lamp and placed it as shown on another base. Generally speaking, slag glass lamps predate Tiffany’s style of lamps. Which was using broken pieces of slag glass, cut or grinding them joining them geometrically as needed to make lamp shades. They were joined together using a foil welding method developed by Tiffany. It is in very good to excellent antique estate condition. This is another lamp we have married a base and shade. There light area of missing paint, patina and tarnishing of the brass (see photos). There are no chips or cracks in any of the slag glass. Please view all photos carefully as they are a part of the item description.
