Dale Tiffany Stained Slag Glass Water Lily Pad Floral Art Nouveau Dents Cracks
This beautiful lamp is approximately 19 inches tall. The shade is about 14 inches in diameter, and 8 inches tall. There is a Dale Tiffany tag inside the shade. Very nice jewel beading. There is one dent on the top metal piece, a dented rim with corresponding cracked, chipped panels. 2 are shattered, one with a hole, and one has a fracture line. Reinforced with some Loctite to prevent further damage. Luckily the panels are all near each other, so they can go on the wall side. “Style” Pond Lily Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp Floral. Base appears to be a marriage made by Leviton. Very very heavy Lamp. I didn’t see any makers marks on the shade. Very beautiful lamp with mint blemishes as pictured. Some discoloration and patina loss in a couple spots. Please feel free to request additional pics or ask any questions. I’m hooray unsure. It’s an exquisite Lamp either way. The cord is frayed and will need rewired eventually but it still works, as pictured. In the Lighted pics, I only have 2 out of the 6 bulbs inside. RARE Handel Leaded Slag Stained Glass Bronze Water Lily Lamp Base
This is hard to find Handel lamp base. I have only come across a few over the years. It is a water lily themed one, done in solid bronze. Great look, nice finish, and complete with Hubbell sockets (with porcelain interiors), acorn pulls, cap and finial. It is even wired up with period style brown cloth cord. I see no dents, dings or major scratches and medium brown finish looks great. 21 1/2″ tall, 8″ diameter at the widest point of the bottom. Prominently signed HANDEL as shown. Antique Arts & Crafts Handel Leaded Slag Stained Glass Water Lily Table Lamp
I have had a few inquiries since I ended these last week, so here you go. I have used this sore for many years and they do a very nice job with packing. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very unusual Handel/Unique leaded glass table lamp. I say unusual since I have never seen one with water lilies or pink background. Periwinkle Unique shades are fairly common, but I don’t think water lilies are. Both the flowers and even the background glass are simply outstanding. The dark greens in the leaves really contrast well with the predominantly white petals of the water lilies, and the pink background glass just pulls it all together beautifully. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any setting. In terms of size, this is a rather large lamp with an 18″ diameter shade that stands 24″ tall. In terms of condition, I see a couple of small cracks here and there, but nothing serious. There are no replaced pieces and the shade has that nice rattle of an old and original lamp. Patina on both the shade and base is just outstanding. Unique did not sign their shades and the ones that are signed HANDEL should be looked at as being very suspicious since copies were made in the 1970′s. The base is signed HANDEL with a metal tag in the bottom as pictured. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
