The metal is finished in a silver color and the shade rests on a lamp base with scrolls, garlands and fleur-de-lis decoration against matching slag stained bent glass panels. The lamp has a three-sockets cluster and floral finial. Condition : slightly wear to silver finish on metal, two-sockets have been replaced, glass panels are in very good condition. The lamp base has also one socket which has original switch light to turn on/off option and you could use it as a night lamp. Dimensions: 22″ tall by 20″ in diameter / shade /. 8 Panel Antique 24 Handel Era Lighthouse Stained Leaded Slag Glass Lamp
Beautiful 8 panel slag glass lighthouse lamp! The repeating metal overlay is of intricate leaves and grapes / berries. There is a beige / tan paint covering the metal which has chipped through time. The slag glass is mainly blue but is swirled with other colors that brighten warmly when lit. I presently cannot shut off the bottom light but even though the lamp works I would suggest that it be rewired for safety reasons. Could use some detail cleaning where the metal panels meet between the overlay and the glass. Whatever wattage is in the base was there when I bought it; I intended to have it changed down whenever I got around to getting it re-wired. Which like many things, never got done! The bottom of the shade measures 19 across. The bottom of the lamp base is 7 1/2 and lamp itself is 24 1/4 including the finial. Unwrap close to couch cushion or bed top as item may be wrapped in layers. If you want an item insured for more, let me know before you check out so I can tack it on. Gorgeous all-original overlay slag panel lamp, early 1900s. Large size, m easures approximately 21 1/2″ high with a big 19″ diameter shade. Could find no maker’s mark, but guaranteed absolutely antique. I absolutely 100% guarantee the base and shade are original together. The color of the metal and all glass is a perfect match. All glass and metal in excellent original condition: no chips or cracks to the glass, no dents or breaks or losses to the metal overlay, very minor finish wear only. Features six beautiful blue and pink streaked glass panels on the shade and two panels on the base, two pull-chain sockets and pull lever on base. As photos show, can be lit both shade and base simultaneously, or shade or base independently. Lamp was rewired at one time, all in good working order. The 2 sockets look original, base push-pull switch looks replaced. Large Slag Glass Lamp. Art Nouveau style overlay of a vase with flowers & birds. Very large 20″ shade, height is 22″. Lamp has been newly rewired with a period style cord and ready for use in your home. The base has its own switch. Condition is excellent with no broken glass panels. Gold finish is in good condition as well with just some minor wear. One of the glass panels in the shade might be a replacement, from the inside one seems thicker than the rest, but the color looks fine. My guess is — it is a very early a copy of a famous Riviere Studios Co.. Nice rich original patina all around of lamp. The mushroom /dome shape shade has 16″ in diameter by 7″ high, total size of the lamp is 25.5 tall including finial. The lamp shade has an expensive slag glass panels in marbelized hue green color. Metal frame made in very intricate design with ornate etched metal having scenes with storks on lake with blooming water lilies and other flowers. All two replaced sockets in good working order. The lamp base has 3-way switch/please look at the pictures/. No damage at all to the glass panels nor metal frame. Antique Lighthouse Slag Glass Lamp
Being offered is a very nice antique lighthouse lamp with beige and caramel colored slag glass. This lamp lights up on the top and bottom, many use the bottom on with the top off as night light. Over-lay is a repeating shield/medallion pattern. Lamp has been newly rewired with a period style cord & plug and ready for use in your home. Larger lamp stands 23 1/2″ in height and the shade is 18″ in diameter. Condition is very good, with one panel repaired, difficult to find. Patina is original and with very little loss.
