ANTIQUE 1910′s Slag Glass Panel Table Lamp with Lighted Base & Lamp Shade
Please note: All components described below are original – nothing has been replaced or re-stored. The lamp base has 3 panels of smooth amber glass with all of the tabs intact. It has 3 light sockets- 2 at the top and 1 inside the base of the lamp with a pull chain for each light socket so you can light each one separately. Base is made up of solid brass and can be polished for a shinier and “less antique look” if desired. The 2 light sockets at the top of the lamp read “PAT’D JULY 6 1909″ and “250W – 250V” and has a circled “F”. Has a reeded plug with thread in socket and due to age and condition it is recommended that it be re-wired if you want to use the lamp as intended. The shade is 18 inches in diameter and roughly 10 inches deep. It has 6 panels of the same smooth amber glass as the base. Currently there is only 1 glass panel in the shade and the other 3 intact panels were removed at some point by the original owner possibly for tab repair purposes. So there are a total of 4 (1 in the shade & 3 pictured on the ground) of the glass panels that are intact and not broken. 1 glass panel is missing and 1 panel (pictured next to the 3 intact ones on the ground) is broken into 5 pieces (refer to photos). 3 of the 12 tabs have broken off where the missing panel was and the broken used to be. The 9 that are intact may need some reinforcing to prevent them from breaking off when glass panels are re-inserted. This is a very ornate and beautiful lamp that can be polished and restored to look new again or displayed as is in all its antique artistic beauty.

ATQ 6 Panel Slag Glass Table Lamp Art Deco Nouveau 18 tall Purple Lighted BASE
Beautiful vintage slag glass lamp. This piece has a great look to it and measures roughly 18″ tall by 13.75″ wide. One of the panels has a missing corner of glass. Im not sure of the exact age of this piece The metal feels rather soft possibly pewter. There is some surface wear from age which is to be expected. Antique Arts and Crafts Slag Glass Table Lamp with Lighted Base
Antique Arts and Crafts Slag Glass Lamp With Lighted Base. This anituqe lamp is in very good original condition with some age related wear. One of the panels of the shade had cracked and was repaired. The repairs were done well and the cracks are only noticeably when looking closesly at that panel (see photo #10). Two of the tabs holding one of the panels in place broke off leaving the panel to be a bit loose in the shade and creating a gap (see photo # 11). The best fix for this is to solder in a new metal tab to secure this panel. One of the socets has been replaced at some point so one of the chains is different and hangs lower than the other with a differnt style end piece. Aside from these defects, the lamp is in very good shape, complete, and original. The base panels are in very good condition with no breakage. All shade panels are in good condition with no breakage except for the one in photo #10. The lamp has an older cord, but inside the base it has a very old cloth cord with some frays in it. This cord needs to be addressed by a competent electrician before using this lamp. Both sockets work properly as does the light inside the base. The lamp meausures about 22″ tall with an 18″ diameter shade. These antique slag glass table lamps have so much character and make a great addition to a home. This is an authentic and functional piece. Before use you will need to have a competent electrician rewire it. This is an easy job for a competent electician and necessary as there is old cloth electrical cord with some frays present. This poses a fire and shock risk. Feel free to ask me any questions about this great lamp. As stated, the lamp needs to be rewired by a competent electrician for safe and reliable use despite the fact that is is currently working as is.
