1920′s Six Panel Native American Indian and Horse Blue Slag Glass Table Lamp. Nice Scarce Vintage Estate Find 1920′s Six Panel Lamp Shade Blue Slag Glass and Metal 7 1/2 High Handel Era Spelter & Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade Indian and Horse Motif Design. What an interesting find. From a local estate, a beautiful vintage Piece Nice detail and eye appeal. Shade dates from the late 19teens to the 1920′s. Six identical panels make up the shade. Each panel is held in place with a soldered brass holder. The metal design of the outer shade appears to be spelter finished with a bronze look. No marks that I could find. Each panel base measures approx. 7 and each panel top measures approx. ” Width of shade from flat side to flat side is 12″ and from angle point to angle point is 14 1/4. 1 of the panels has 2 cracked pieces that have been taped together. The Bronze Stand Measures 14 tall to top of the Fixture. The Base weighs around 3 lbs and the Shade weighs over 7 lbs. Will need cleaning because of dust. I attempted to clean some of the Panels on the Lamp Shade but did not want to break any of the glass. Check out Pictures for more detailed description of item Condition. Check Out Our Store. Ready for Display or a Light Restoration. Antique Indian & Griffin Figural Slag Glass Lamp. This is a Great looking Art Deco era 1930′s parlor Lamp featuring an Impressive Reticulated Metal Portion with Winged Griffins backed with Beautiful Blue & White Slag Glass. The top corners are decorated by Seated Indians with another 4 figural Busts on the Post. The finish is lightly worn and the top pieces of lighting have been removed years ago but the style & Back Lit Griffins are Simply To Die For! This lamp would be prefect for display where the top is not overly visible or you could easily restore the top portion back to its original former glory. Overall a Very Seldom Seen & Unique Lamp. 1 of 50+ Estate Fresh Items Picked Weekly. Solid as can be with light age wear to the finish. The top at one time was wired with 4 “stems” coming out of the top but they are no longer present. Overall a VERY Impressive looking base with light age wear to the finish but nothing of great concern. The wiring has been updated over the years and although it is functional it should always be looked over by a professional. Overall a very unqiue lamp ready for display or for a light restoration!
