This Gorham-Tiffany-style-lamp has been a one-family one-owner lamp since 1930s. Hung in an affluent summer cottage in Detroit Michigan in the dining area. The leaded glass framework has had minor repairs over time, but there are no cracks, missing pieces, or chips. Incredibly ornate and intricate leaded lamp from this era with the grape/country leaf motif. 24″ across at all points, 12″ tall from top to bottom. Original switch, chain, and bulb included. C 1910 Gorham Leaded geometric glass lamp. Very intricate details in this lamp! LOOK at the details in the design, notice the pencil thin lead lines still tight and sturdy. Gorham can’t be beat with the lead lines in most of their lamp shades. All the glass is pastels very rare use of pastel glass. One hairline pictured tight in place. Base is cast bronze. Tree style base with maple leaves on the ground (foot) of base. This is one sweet lamp and worth every dime you’ll pay to own it. Stands 21″ tall 7.25″ foot. Shade is 16″ wide 7″ deep. 2 raised letter Hubbell acorn pull sockets (working fine) wired with a brown period style cord and vintage plug READY TO USE you do nothing but put in bulbs and plug it in!!! Gorham Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Base Handel Duffner Tiffany Era
Here’s a nice, original and complete Gorham lamp base. This is a very, VERY hard base to find so if you need one here is your chance. Much rarer than any Tiffany lamp base. 21″ tall, 7 1/2″ diameter round at the bottom. Solid bronze with beautiful gold wash patina. 2 socket cluster with matching long Hubbell sockets with their original interiors and acorn ended pull chains. Complete with matching cap. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a massive example Gorham’s work in stained glass table lamps. Done in the arts & crafts style, the large geometric leaded glass shade is a full 20″ in diameter and the lamp stands an impressive 29″ tall. Just look at the detail in the shade with a great selection of mottled green, white and amber glass that make criss-crossing geometric patterns around the apron. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any arts & crafts setting. The base is solid cast brass and comes with what look like its original sockets, porcelain interiors and ball ended pull chains. This one is actually prominently signed on one of the bottom edges as shown GORHAM CO. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a large and impressive lamp made by a quality maker in the true arts and crafts style. It is a beautiful example of Gorham’s work and is in very fine condition overall. RARE Antique Gorham Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a rare example of a Gorham pine cone boarder leaded lamp. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that both shade and base are in very nice original condition with the shade having a handful of small cracks here and there. Note that the pine cones are actually made out of tiny individual pieces of glass…. This is not an overlay! Each of these little pine cone pieces had its own foil and leading. This must have been a whole lot of work to do! The very heavy and solid bronze base has a nice decorated bottom and has a great deep dark greenish finish. It comes with what appear to be its original Hubbell labeled sockets. Porcelain interiors and acorn ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. The shade measures 18″ in diameter and the lamp stands 26 1/2″ tall. Gorham Bronze Lamp Base For Leaded Slag Glass Handel Tiffany Studios Era
DESCRIPTION – This is a early 1900s lamp base by Gorham Manufacturing co. And signed’GORHAM CO. QV411′ Even though Gorham specializes in silver they took advantage of Tiffany’s popularity by making amazing lamps themselves. It has a bronze body on a wood base. It has a 3 light cluster with one pull and two turn-key style sockets. The 6 sided form would go great with an arts & crafts, art deco or art nouveau style shade. CONDITION – This lamp base is in great original condition. It has very nice even patina. The lamp has been rewired at some point and works well. The original finial and shade rest is included. It could use a good professional cleaning. MEASUREMENTS – It is 21.5″ to top of finial with a 7″ base. The shade rest has a total diameter of 2″ with an interior lip of 1.5″ like most standard Gorham shades.
