Antique 12 Panel Ornate Brass & Slag Glass Rainbow Colored Hanging Lamp Shade with brass beading with roses and other flowers. The family we bought it from said their grandmother had brought it over with her from Europe when she came. She had told them the lamp was handmade, circa 1920. I have no way to confirm this, all I can say is that they seemed like a very nice family and that they offered the information before I even had the chance to ask. All the colors swirled together are quite unique with blue, green, purple, yellow, and the others. It h as 12 panels divided by beads of brass that each have a rose with other flowers above them. It also seems to be a flower motif on the bottom. It all appears to be brass, a magnet does not stick to any of it. The lamp measures approx. 17 7/8″ in Diameter by 10 1/2″ tall and has a 15 foot cord and 12 feet of chain. Condition: The lamp works and is in good condition, no cracks or chips to the slag glass. The lamp works, the cord / wiring are newer and in good condition, not original to the lamp.
